As you enter the chalet, you will be greeted by a cosy dining room with rustic wooden stove. Tastefully decorated, inviting rooms with high-quality bed and sleep systems, as well as elegant bathrooms, guarantee that you will have a restful night’s sleep. The south-facing balcony nestled against the historic alpine barn facade allows you to feel at one with nature. Here you can enjoy the tranquillity of watching the deer graze – just as if you were sitting on a hunting perch. You can also relax in the alpine pergola in front of the lodge, which also features a stonewalled grill.
Alpine wellness
The rejuvenating heat of the sauna with panorama views through its glass wall will have you leaving behind the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life in no time. To cool down afterwards, simply take a dip in the 5-metre-long larch tub in front of the lodge, which is filled with crystal-clear mountain water and also makes for a refreshing Kneipp’s bath.
Cuisine
The Wurzeralm next door will make your stay at the Chalet ‘M’ mountain pasture unique from a culinary point of view. Innkeepers will delight you from the get-go – from hearty breakfasts to delicious traditional lunch and late afternoon snack until 18.00. What could be better than sitting back with a good wine and exquisite Kaiserschmarrn (the local take on pancakes), listening in on the amusing tales of the innkeepers and simply having a great time?!
Activities
Exercising is easy here on the mountainside. The impressive landscape has a knack for luring even couch potatoes outside into nature. From spring through to autumn, the sun-drenched Monzoccolo invites you to go on exciting mountain bike and e-bike tours. And fans of jogging and Nordic walking also get their money’s worth during the warm season. Leisurely hikes from one alpine hut to the next are of course at the top of the to-do list!

Amenities, services included & conditions:
- Our mountain pasture is a car-free zone, which is why you will find parking facilities in the multi-storey car park at the Hotel Chalet Mirabell in Hafling. Our shuttle bus will then take you directly to the mountain pasture and will pick you up again after your stay. By the way: responsible use of resources is part of our philosophy here on the mountain pasture. Winding down and sustainability are not just empty words for us.
- Upon your arrival you will be greeted with a basket filled with selected delicacies from South Tyrol – for those moments when you’re feeling peckish.
- We request 50% of the total sum when you book. The remaining 50% can be paid when you arrive at Hotel Chalet Mirabell
- The price for your vacation at Chalet "M" hut is 450,00€ per day for max. 4 adults and 2 kids in the low season; in the high season the price is 600,00€.
- Low season: 10th April-22nd July and 20th August - 15th October, except public holidays
- The hut is bookable in the summer months between mid-April and October.
- On the day of your arrival we will give you the Mirabell gourmet breakfast for free!
Extra services on the hut
Please let us know before your arrival if you would like to book one of the following extra services.
- Dinner: We will be happy to pick you up from the hut, for an extra charge of 60€ for pick up and drop off, so that you can take advantage of the Gourmet Dinner in our beautiful restaurant. 90€ per adult, 55€ for kids from 3-13 years
- Day Spa: We will gladly pick you up from the hut, for an additional charge of 60€ for pick up and drop off, so that you can use our Premium Spa at the Hotel Chalet Mirabell from 10:00 to 19:30. 135€ per adult, kids on request
- E-bikes: 45€ per day and must be booked for the entire stay. Will be brought to the hut exclusively on the day of arrival.
- BBQ: Be your own grill master! Will be brought to the hut exclusively on the day of arrival.
