The many winter excursion trails are also highly appreciated, as well as the natural sledding slope.
The skiing area of Merano 2000 also offers winter pleasures "a la carte". The sun and snow are never lacking on the plateau that overlooks the valley hollow of Merano. It is pure fun on the snow from December to mid-March for expert skiers, but also for beginners. Even when the hot springs of Merano are hit by spring and the almond trees are in bloom on the Tappeiner trail, skiers are still speeding happily down the slopes.
