Hiking paradise Hafling

The famous horses 'Haflinger'

This unique plateau gave its name to the famous 'Haflinger'. You simply cannot imagine the surroundings
of Hafling without this dominant, strong and blondmane horse breed. There are many opportunities
to get to know these wonderful animals: equestrian centres offer rides to explore the beautiful scenery.
A horse coach is also available and offers a unique experience.
In any case, the horses are a feast for your eyes whenever you discover them in the wild.

Hill walkers will love it here. From spring right through to autumn, you can enjoy nature and take in the
breathtaking mountain views.

If you’d like something a little more challenging, try mountaineering along partially secured climbing routes.
The panoramic views over the valley of Etschtal, the Dolomites and the Brenta and Ortler ranges are all impressive.

Hafling-Vöran is also a top-level centre for mountain biking, with routes that range from gentle ambles to downright hard.
